Save money and time by using our American Granby Pump Start Relay with your cistern pump installation. If you are using your cistern or water tank for irrigation only, then there is no need to use a pressure tank or pressure switch with your installation: Simply run 24V wiring from your irrigation controller to our Pump Start Relay, then wire the pump start relay to your electric panel and to your pump. When the irrigation controller turns on an irrigation zone, it will simultaneously activate the Pump Start Relay, which acts like an automatic switch to send power to your pump.
