The DIG Barb Insertion Tool is used to insert 1/4" barbed connectors into the end of 1/4" irrigation micro tubing (this tool is not a hole punch). The barb insertion tool features a clamp to hold the micro tubing and a chamber to hold the barbed connector. Squeezing the handles tightens the clamp and pushes the barbed connector into the end of the micro tubing for a secure, drip-free connection. This tool is especially handy when installing a large number of barbs, or in colder weather when tubing is less pliable.
