Quick choosing guide

1. Size the line: total the appliance BTU load and use CSST sizing tables for your run length and allowed pressure drop.
2. Pick the tubing & size: choose the CSST diameter and coil length that covers the route with minimal joints.
3. Match the fittings: select AutoFlare adapters (MIP/FIP) for transitions to valves, regulators, and rigid pipe; add tees/elbows as the layout needs.
4. Finish terminations: use approved termination fittings, strike plates, and supports anywhere CSST passes through framing or finishes.
5. Vent & regulate: verify regulator type/setting, add vent protectors or limiters as required by the model and code.
6. Code & bonding: install per local code and the TracPipe manual; bond/ground the system with the required clamp and conductor size.

Pro tips: Cut CSST square, deburr, and assemble AutoFlare fittings exactly as shown in the manual—no pipe dope on flare seats, thread sealant on NPT only. Protect tubing with strike plates through studs, anchor at appliances, and pressure-test before cover-up. Questions?
