Rinnai Sensei RX

Rinnai SENSEI® RX condensing tankless water heaters deliver endless hot water with quiet, high-efficiency performance. Choose indoor or outdoor models in natural gas or propane, with options for built-in or add-on recirculation, Wi-Fi/app control, and clean concentric or twin-pipe venting. Finish installs with vent kits, pipe covers, isolation valves, and maintenance accessories.

Shop by need

  • Location: indoor or outdoor enclosures with freeze protection (model dependent)
  • Fuel: natural gas or propane; conversion kits where specified
  • Recirculation: built-in pump models, recirc-ready units, crossover/bypass kits, timers and controls
  • Venting: concentric or 2-pipe PVC/CPVC/PP vent kits, terminations, and pipe covers
  • Controls: onboard scheduling, optional Wi-Fi/app modules, remote temperature control
  • Service & parts: isolation/flush valve kits, condensate neutralizers, filters, and repair parts

Quick choosing guide

  1. Size by demand: total peak fixtures and calculate GPM at your winter temperature rise. Pick an RX that meets that flow on the spec curve.
  2. Pick placement: Indoor for mechanical spaces with vent route; Outdoor where climate allows and venting isn’t practical.
  3. Decide on recirculation: choose a built-in pump model for the fastest hot water or add a recirc kit to a recirc-ready unit.
  4. Plan venting & condensate: select the correct concentric or twin-pipe kit and route a condensate drain/neutralizer for condensing operation.
  5. Complete the kit: add isolation/flush valves, pipe cover, controller/Wi-Fi module (if desired), and the right gas line size and shutoff.
  6. Maintenance: schedule periodic descaling/flush to protect the heat exchanger—especially in hard-water areas.
