The Pro220A™ utilizes a powerful Pro110A™ Tone Generator to send a tracing tone down the wire, while the user employs the Pro210F™ Advanced Tone Probe at the termination point, listening for the loudest signal emanating from a wire. By finding that tone, the user is identifying the wire in question.
The Pro220A senses the tracing signal’s electrical field without the need to actually touch the wire. The Pro210F™ Probe offers the latest in AC noise rejection technology, actually ignoring random signals not associated with the Pro110A Tone Generator.
