Spray Heads

Spray heads deliver even, close-range coverage for turf and planting beds. Build reliable zones with pop-up bodies in multiple heights, pressure-regulated (PRS) options to reduce misting, and check-valve (SAM) models to stop low-head drainage—then finish with the right nozzles for each area.

Shop by need

  • Pop-up bodies: common heights 2", 3", 4", 6", and 12" for grass, groundcover, and shrubs
  • Performance features: PRS (pressure regulation), SAM (check valve), side-inlet bodies, rugged/contractor grades
  • Nozzles: adjustable-arc, fixed matched-precipitation, strips/corners, bubblers; high-efficiency rotating options (model dependent)
  • Accessories: risers, swing joints, filters, caps, and service tools

Quick choosing guide

  1. Pick height: 4" for most turf; 6–12" to clear taller grass, groundcover, or uneven grades.
  2. Control pressure: choose PRS bodies to cut misting/overspray where supply pressure runs high.
  3. Stop puddles: select SAM check-valve models on slopes or where laterals drain down.
  4. Match the nozzle: adjustable for odd shapes, fixed MPR for balanced watering, strip/corner along walks and narrow beds; confirm the nozzle thread type matches the body.
  5. Space head-to-head: set radius so each head reaches the next for uniform coverage.
  6. Use side inlets: helpful where bottom clearance is tight or along hardscape.

Pro tips: Flush lines before install, set heads level and flush with grade, and target about 30–45 PSI at the spray head (use PRS to dial it in). Use swing joints to protect heads, mark reclaimed-water zones as required, and winterize in freezing climates. Not sure which combination fits? Share zone pressure, head count, and plant height — we will recommend a dialed-in spray package.
