The Armada Technologies PRO50K is an entry-level tone-and-probe kit for following residential sprinkler-control wires and narrowing the position of connected solenoid valves. The transmitter connects to compatible de-energized low-voltage wiring through alligator clips or an RJ11 adapter, and the handheld probe detects the applied tone along the wire path. Adjustable volume, an external speaker, and a headset jack help the user hear signal changes in different work environments.
The kit is intended for basic residential irrigation locating rather than deep commercial utility work. It includes transmitter, receiver probe, connection leads, RJ11 adapter, and a zippered nylon case. Four AA batteries and one 9V battery are required and are not included. Never connect the kit to energized 120V power.
