Product Overview
The Armada Technologies PRO881 is a dual-frequency digital locator for tracing buried conductors, narrowing irrigation-valve locations, and following non-metallic pipe routes when paired with a compatible tracking rod or sonde. The 1748 Hz mode supports conventional direct-connected wire and valve locating, while the 33.3 kHz mode can be used for compatible higher-frequency and inductive applications. Digital noise rejection helps the receiver distinguish the target signal from surrounding electrical interference.
The listed range reaches up to 8 ft deep and 4,000 ft under suitable site conditions. Actual performance depends on transmitter connection, grounding, conductor or tracking-aid condition, soil, and interference. The kit includes long leads, alligator clips, a heavy-duty stake, and padded hard-shell case. Non-metallic pipe cannot be traced without a compatible conductive aid.
