Its lowest range resolves down to 1 microamp, allowing technicians to detect current paths that may be too small for a general-purpose clamp meter. Comparing readings can help investigate deteriorated insulation, wet splices, ground leakage, failing solenoids, and imbalance in 2-wire systems.
