Product Overview
The Dauer 490066 Solara is a cast brass in-grade well light fixture for compatible 12V MR16 lamps. Its weathered brass finish, clear convex tempered glass lens, and low-profile round top suit landscape uplighting applications.
The lamp-ready fixture allows the final output, beam width, and color temperature to be selected for trees, walls, signs, and landscape features. Verify the MR16 base, dimensions, voltage, and wattage and add the chosen lamp load to transformer sizing and voltage-drop calculations. An in-grade installation should be planned for drainage, cable entry, outdoor connections, surrounding material, and future access before the body is set. Use the lamp beam and fixture position to limit glare, and retain access for the hex tool and lamp replacement.
