The PRIER P-260 Heavy Duty Ground Hydrant is an easy to use, full-flow ground hydrant with an optional double check valve and vacuum breaker with an adjustable operating stem. Unlike other hydrants, this stem and plunger can be removed without touching the cast iron head or interfering with the submerged inlet connection. To service other hydrants, the whole cast iron head must be removed from the galvanized pipe before the stem can be accessed or removed. By eliminating this procedure, PRIER has made future service of the valve very simple, creating a more reliable hydrant.

  • Flow control lock for water flow adjustment
  • Available in 8 standard lengths, longer lengths available by request
  • 3/4” FPT inlet connection
  • Built in backflow preventer, self-lubricating EPDM seals, and optional ASSE 1052 vacuum breaker
  • Stainless steel upper rod for long wear life
  • Multi-pass seat for high flow rates
  • Heavy duty galvanized steel pipe body and operating stem
  • Optional brass pipe and operating rod for harsh water environments
  • Solid brass garden hose adapter and triple seal stopper for long wear life
