The Intermatic PX100 is a 100-watt safety transformer designed to supply low-voltage power to compatible pool, spa, submersible, fountain, and outdoor landscape-lighting fixtures. It accepts a 120 VAC, 60 Hz input and provides selectable 12, 13, or 14 VAC output connections. The multiple secondary taps allow a qualified installer to select the appropriate output for the connected lighting circuit while accounting for fixture requirements and permitted voltage drop.
A grounded shield separates the primary and secondary windings to support safe low-voltage operation in an approved installation. Built-in circuit protection temporarily disconnects power if an overload occurs and can restore operation after the condition is corrected and the transformer cools. The beige Type 3R steel enclosure supports properly installed indoor or outdoor applications and includes combination knockouts for conduit routing. This transformer does not include a timer, junction box, fixture, or optional ET-NF noise filter.
