The Intermatic PX300 is a 300-watt safety transformer for compatible pool, spa, underwater, fountain, and outdoor landscape-lighting systems. It accepts 120 VAC, 60 Hz input power and provides selectable 12, 13, or 14 VAC secondary connections. The increased 300-watt capacity supports larger combined lighting loads than the PX100 while retaining the same compact enclosure dimensions.
A grounded shield separates the primary and secondary windings to support safe low-voltage operation in a correctly designed system. Built-in circuit protection temporarily disconnects transformer power during an overload and can restore operation after the fault is corrected and the unit cools. The beige Type 3R steel enclosure supports properly installed indoor or outdoor applications and includes ten combination knockouts for conduit routing. A timer, junction box, fixtures, and optional ET-NF noise filter are not included.
