Test-Tite pneumatic cleanout test plugs are designed for testing drain, waste, and vent piping above a compatible cleanout tee. Each selectable plug is sized for one specific nominal pipe size and threads into the matching cleanout fitting. After the plug is installed, its natural-rubber bladder is inflated through the molded valve to block the line during an approved water or air test.
When the test is complete, the bladder can be deflated to let test water or air pass through before the threaded cap is removed from the cleanout tee. This controlled release can make draining and removal easier than pulling an inflated plug through the line.
