Brand: K-Rain SKU: 14003-SS
Product Overview
The K-Rain 14003-SS is the stainless-steel-riser version of the standard-speed ProSport sports-turf rotor. It is designed for athletic fields and large commercial landscapes where the added riser reinforcement is preferred for demanding service conditions. The stainless-steel option is offered on the 4-inch ProSport configuration and retains the same triple-nozzle distribution concept used by the standard 14003.
A primary nozzle provides long-range coverage while two secondary streams cover the middle and near portions of the watering radius. This close-in distribution is important on broad sports-field spacing where a single long-range stream can leave dry areas nearer the rotor. Current K-Rain data lists a 43- to 77-foot radius, approximately 5.1 to 32.5 GPM, 40 to 90 PSI, and arc adjustment from 40° to continuous 360°.
The rotor uses a 1-inch female NPT inlet and includes a factory-installed check valve. A heavy-duty rubber cover and mud guard help protect the head and support below-grade sports-field installation, while the arc-memory clutch helps protect internal gears if the turret is forced. The stainless-steel riser does not reduce the need for correct field elevation, winterization, hydraulic design, or routine inspection.

Compatibility and Installation Notes
The SS suffix identifies the stainless-steel option; it does not mean every rotor component is stainless steel. Size the pipe, valve, pump, and nozzle from the K-Rain performance table. Install at the correct below-grade elevation, maintain the check valve, and use appropriate winterization procedures for the site.
