The K-Rain 76001 is a 6-inch K-Spray pop-up sprinkler body for turf edges, taller groundcover, and planted areas where a standard 4-inch riser may not lift the nozzle high enough above surrounding vegetation. It has a female-threaded riser for compatible male-threaded spray nozzles and ships with a flush cap rather than a watering nozzle.
The 6-inch pop-up stroke raises the selected nozzle during irrigation and retracts it into an 8-inch overall body after the zone shuts off. The UV-resistant body, corrosion-resistant internal parts, stainless-steel retraction spring, and heavy-duty wiper seal support reliable movement in common landscape conditions. A ratcheting riser makes final pattern alignment possible without rotating the installed body.
K-Rain rates the K-Spray family for 20 to 70 PSI with a 1/2-inch female NPT inlet. The old page's stated radius and arc were nozzle specifications, not fixed characteristics of the body; actual radius, flow, arc, and precipitation depend entirely on the separately selected male-threaded nozzle. The base 76001 does not include a check valve or reclaimed-water identification.
