The K-Rain 78004 is the standard 4-inch Pro-S professional spray body for maintained turf and general residential or light-commercial landscape irrigation. It has a male-threaded riser for compatible female-threaded fixed, adjustable, or rotary nozzles. The body ships with a flush cap instead of a watering nozzle so the final pattern, radius, and flow can be matched to the site.
Pro-S bodies combine a rugged UV-resistant body and cap with a co-molded cartridge-style wiper seal, a heavy-duty retraction spring, and a ratcheting riser. The 78004 offers approximately 3½ inches of riser travel in a body about 6 inches tall when retracted. K-Rain currently rates the Pro-S family for 20 to 110 PSI through a 1/2-inch female NPT bottom inlet.
The base 78004 is not pressure regulated and does not include a check valve, Stop Flow function, nozzle guard, or reclaimed-water identification. These options are available in suffix-specific configurations. Pressure-regulated 4-inch Pro-S models may carry EPA WaterSense certification, but that certification should not be applied to this unregulated base body.
