Kichler 16085BK Smart Control Timer for Landscape Lighting
Brand: Kichler | SKU: 16085BK
Product Overview
Put an existing or new landscape lighting circuit on a schedule with the Kichler 16085BK Smart Control Timer. The timer works with the Kichler Connects app so you can switch the connected lights on or off and choose a preset or custom schedule from a phone or tablet. Location-based and dusk-to-dawn options can adjust operation with the season, while Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support the setup and control described by Kichler. The timer fits within compatible transformer enclosures and has an external antenna to help carry the wireless signal beyond the enclosure.
This is a 120 V control accessory for a compatible transformer, not a low-voltage transformer or a landscape fixture. Verify the transformer type, enclosure space, receptacle and electrical requirements before ordering. Kichler lists its Contractor, Plus, and Pro Series transformers among compatible options, with other suitable units subject to the installation instructions. The device is rated for indoor use or placement within an appropriate outdoor enclosure; do not leave it directly exposed. For app setup, confirm the required phone, network, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi availability at the installation site. Plan the schedule around the lighting circuit you want to control; a Smart Control Transformer is a separate product if the project needs independent zone control. Review the manual before making changes to an existing transformer.
