The PC457-442-10A is a preassembled sump pump combination with a 1/2 HP, 115 V Model 457 primary pump and a StormCell 442-10A battery backup. When the primary pump cannot run because of an outage or failure, the 12 V backup provides another way to remove water. This version uses the local backup alarm and does not include the NightEye wireless feature.
The package includes piping for a 1-1/2 in. discharge and check valves for both pumps, plus the 10 A charger/controller and battery box. A compatible 12 V Group 27 or 31 deep cycle battery must be purchased separately. Check sump pit clearance, discharge routing, and power before ordering.
