Its limits are 30-75 PSI, 40-100°F water temperature and 9.5 GPM maximum flow. The filter must be included in system flow and pressure-drop calculations; the heater’s maximum GPM is not a guaranteed assembled-bundle flow rate. Keep hot water and thermal expansion from entering the filter. The filter does not replace water softening when required, water-quality treatment, heater flushing or manufacturer maintenance.
