SmartLink Remote Management
The included SmartLink Aircard uses LTE CAT M1 cellular communication to connect the controller to Weathermatic's SmartLink platform. This allows authorized users to access irrigation programming and controller functions remotely through a compatible web-connected device without relying on the property's local Wi-Fi network.
SmartLink provides tools for controller overview, remote programming, manual zone and program operation, event review, valve location, site management, and irrigation reporting.
Weather-Based Irrigation Control
The included SLW5 Wireless Weather Station enables the SmartLine controller's Auto Adjust mode. The weather station collects on-site weather information that the controller can use to calculate irrigation run times based on current conditions instead of relying only on fixed watering schedules.
The SLW5 also provides rain shutoff and freeze protection. Freeze shutoff activates at approximately 37°F, helping prevent irrigation during freezing conditions.
