Pro tips: Match barb size to poly I.D. and double-clamp on higher-pressure lines. Use primer & cement on socket PVC (never glue NPT threads); use PTFE tape or thread sealant on threaded joins. For suction lines, add a foot valve and strainer; for dirty water, add upstream filtration.
