Rain Bird ESPLXME2 12 Station Irrigation Controller 

Command your commercial irrigation system with the powerful and highly flexible Rain Bird ESP-LXME2 Modular Controller. As an upgraded successor to the legendary ESP-LXME series, this controller is engineered for ultimate flexibility, starting at a 12-station base and easily expanding up to 48 stations with additional controllers to accommodate the evolving needs of your landscape. Its large backlit display and simplified user interface make programming complex schedules across 40 different programs intuitive and fast.

The ESP-LXME2 is packed with advanced water management features, including FloManager™ to shorten watering windows and SimulStations™ to run up to five stations simultaneously. For ultimate control and water savings, upgrade to the ESP-LXME2 Pro to unlock flow sensing capabilities that actively monitor and react to high or low flow conditions, preventing leaks and protecting your property. With the addition of a LNK2 Wi-Fi module (sold separately), the ESP-LXME2 transforms into a smart controller, offering remote system management and automatic weather-based adjustments right from your phone.

Retrofit Applications: Previous generation LXME controllers can be upgraded with LXME2 hardware

  • Cabinet - LXME era cabinets (chassis) are compatible with LXME2 hardware and do not need to be upgraded
  • Faceplate - LXME faceplate can be swapped with an LXME2 faceplate (LXME2FP)
  • 12 Station Modules (ESP-LXM-SM12) - Existing wiring to 12 station modules can remain unchanged
  • 4 & 8 Station Modules - Not supported (replace with ESP-LXM-SM12)
  • Base Module (BM2-LXME) - Is compatible with the LXME2
  • Flow Smart Module (FSM-LXME) - Not supported (replace with PSM-LXME2)
  • Flow Smart IQ Connection Module (IQ-FSCMLXME) - Not supported (replace with IQ-PSCMLXME2).
  • 6 Pin Remotes - Not compatible with LXME2
