Product Details
The K-Rain 7102 ProSeries 150 is a high-capacity 2-inch electric valve designed for large residential estates, commercial properties, and sports fields. Engineered for maximum versatility, the 7102 handles flow rates up to 120 GPM with minimal pressure loss. This professional-grade valve features a unique removable inlet cap, allowing it to be easily converted from a standard globe (straight) configuration to an angle-style valve depending on your piping needs. Constructed from UV-resistant, heavy-duty PVC with a Santoprene® diaphragm, the 7102 is built to endure high-pressure surges and provide a leak-proof seal for years of reliable service.
Key Features:
- High-Flow Performance: Optimized for large-scale systems, supporting flow rates from 20 to 120 GPM.
- Globe-to-Angle Conversion: Features a removable inlet cap that allows you to change the valve configuration in the field without purchasing additional parts.
- Integrated Flow Control: Includes a dedicated flow control handle to fine-tune water pressure and provide a manual shut-off for individual zones.
- External Bleed Screw: Features a removable metering pin for easy cleaning and manual operation during system start-up without opening the solenoid.
- Durable Diaphragm: The heavy-duty Santoprene® diaphragm is reinforced for extra strength and designed for smooth closing to prevent water hammer.

- Material: UV-Resistant PVC Construction
- Inrush/Holding Current: 0.43 Amps / 0.25 Amps
Installation & Maintenance Tips:
- Manifold Space: Due to its 2" size (approx. 8.8" height), ensure your valve box is deep enough to accommodate the height of the valve and the flow control handle.
- Manual Operation: For manual watering, turn the internal bleed lever under the solenoid 1/2 turn or use the external bleed screw to open the valve without discharging water outside.
- Thread Protection: Use only Teflon tape (3 wraps maximum) on the male threads. Avoid using liquid pipe dope, as it can react with the PVC body.
- Cleaning: If the valve fails to shut off, use the external bleed screw with its removable metering pin to clear small debris without disassembling the entire valve body.
Common Uses/Applications:
- Commercial Landscapes: Ideal for office parks and shopping centers with high-volume mainline requirements.
- Large Estate Lawns: Perfect for systems using high-flow rotors that require 2" main piping to maintain pressure.
- Sports Fields: Reliable enough for the heavy-duty cycles required for municipal park and school field irrigation.
The K-Rain 7102 ProSeries 150 offers the flexibility and high-capacity performance required for the most demanding irrigation projects.
