Quick choosing guide

1. Size by demand: total peak fixtures and calculate GPM at your winter temperature rise. Pick an RX that meets that flow on the spec curve.
2. Pick placement: Indoor for mechanical spaces with vent route; Outdoor where climate allows and venting isn’t practical.
3. Decide on recirculation: choose a built-in pump model for the fastest hot water or add a recirc kit to a recirc-ready unit.
4. Plan venting & condensate: select the correct concentric or twin-pipe kit and route a condensate drain/neutralizer for condensing operation.
5. Complete the kit: add isolation/flush valves, pipe cover, controller/Wi-Fi module (if desired), and the right gas line size and shutoff.
6. Maintenance: schedule periodic descaling/flush to protect the heat exchanger—especially in hard-water areas.
