Rinnai EnergySaver® Direct Vent Wall Furnaces deliver efficient, ductless heat with sealed combustion and flexible through-wall venting. Ideal for whole-room and zone heating where running ductwork isn’t practical, the D-Series modulates output to maintain even, quiet comfort. Install along an exterior wall and vent straight out with the matching kit. Models available in Natural Gas or Propane.

How to choose
- Size by room heat loss: match BTU/h to space and climate. Small rooms often fit EX08, medium EX22, larger/cold-climate spaces EX38 (see chart).
- Fuel & altitude: select NG or LP; verify altitude limits in the spec sheet. EX38 is listed to 10,200 ft.
- Controls: use a compatible wall thermostat or Wi-Fi thermostat interface (model-dependent).

Pro tips: Size for design-day heat loss (not just square footage), follow clearances, and pitch the vent per the manual. Place units on exterior walls to keep vent runs short, add a surge protector, and vacuum the intake screen during annual service. For high altitude or very tight homes, confirm the latest derating and combustion-air guidance in the spec/IO manual.
