Brand: K-Rain SKU: 60003
Product Overview
The K-Rain 60003 RPS Select is a 4-inch gear-driven rotor with four built-in selectable nozzles. Instead of removing and storing a separate nozzle tree, the installer turns the top selector with a flat-blade screwdriver or compatible adjustment key to choose nozzle 1, 2, 3, or 4. Matching the nozzle selection to the arc helps maintain more consistent precipitation across quarter-, half-, three-quarter-, and full-circle locations.
The rotor adjusts from 40° to 360° and is factory preset near 180° with the #2 nozzle selected. K-Rain's guidance pairs nozzle #1 with arcs from about 40° to 135°, #2 with 136° to 225°, #3 with 226° to 315°, and #4 with 316° to 360°. Current specifications list an approximate 33- to 46-foot radius, 1.3- to 6.8-GPM flow range, 30- to 70-PSI pressure range, and a 3/4-inch female NPT inlet.
The universal riser assembly fits compatible Hunter PGP and PGP Ultra cans, making the RPS Select useful for certain retrofit applications. All primary adjustments are made from the top, including nozzle selection, arc, and radius. A check valve is not installed in the base 60003 unless the model number includes CV. K-Rain's box-level check-valve statement should not be interpreted as multiple check valves included with one individual rotor.

Common Uses
- Residential and light-commercial turf zones
- Installations where multiple arc settings share one zone
- Service fleets seeking fewer loose nozzle racks
- Retrofitting a compatible PGP-style rotor can
Compatibility and Installation Notes
Confirm the available dynamic pressure and zone flow, then select the nozzle that matches the arc and hydraulic design. The built-in selector does not eliminate the need for head-to-head spacing and matched precipitation. When reusing an existing can, inspect the body, seal surfaces, and threads before installing the riser. Flush the lateral line and complete top adjustments according to current K-Rain instructions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the four nozzles stored inside the rotor?
Yes. The nozzle selector changes among four built-in flow paths without removing a conventional nozzle.
Which nozzle is used for a half-circle rotor?
K-Rain recommends nozzle #2 for arcs from approximately 136° to 225°.
Does 60003 include a check valve?
No. Select 60003-CV when a factory check-valve model is required.
Why Buy the K-Rain 60003 RPS Select from Big Frog Supply?
The RPS Select reduces loose-nozzle handling while making arc-to-flow matching straightforward. Big Frog Supply also carries conventional RPS75 rotors, Intelligent Flow models, check-valve parts, and adjustment keys so customers can choose between built-in selection and interchangeable-nozzle systems.
