DIG makes drip and micro irrigation simple and reliable. Build water-smart zones with dripline and tubing, emitters and micro sprays, valves and zone kits, filters and regulators, and controllers for faucets, valve boxes, or wired manifolds.

Quick choosing guide

  1. Start the zone right: add a backflow device as required, then a filter and a 25–30 PSI regulator.
  2. Pick delivery: inline dripline for beds and hedges; emitters for individual plants; micro sprays for gentle overhead on shrubs and groundcover.
  3. Match tubing and fittings: confirm 1/2 in outside diameter (common 0.700 in or 17 mm). Choose barbed or compression to fit your OD.
  4. Choose control: hose-end for a faucet, battery valve-mounted for 1–2 stations, multi-station battery for retrofits, or 24VAC for wired manifolds.
  5. Valve compatibility: battery controllers use 9V DC latching solenoids; wired controllers use 24VAC valves.
  6. Layout and maintenance: stake every 3–5 ft, add flush ends, and winterize where it freezes.

Pro tips: Flush lines at startup, keep all splices above standing water in boxes, and use gel-filled connectors on valve wiring. Group plants by water needs, use cycle-soak on slopes, and keep color or flow consistent within a zone.
