The Liberty 283 combines the rugged design of the 280 series with a factory-installed **wide-angle piggyback float switch** for fully automatic operation. This plugin float design allows you to run pump manually if needed. The 283 shares the same robust build: cast iron uni-body housing, stainless steel hardware, and oil-filled motor.
