  2. Pick connectivity: built-in Wi-Fi for app control; some models add Bluetooth for quick setup.
  3. Placement: indoor is simplest; use an outdoor enclosure for garages/exterior walls.
  4. Sensors & flow: add a rain/freeze sensor, and consider a flow meter on larger systems to catch leaks.
