Liberty LCU-N20ST 115 Volt Neutralizing Condensate Pump
The Liberty LCU-N20ST is a specialized condensate pump designed for **neutralizing acidic condensate** from high-efficiency furnaces, boilers, and water heaters, while also handling non-acidic condensate from A/C, dehumidifiers, and ice machines. It features a **built-in safety switch**, dual inlet paths, and a replaceable **magnesium oxide media cartridge** to protect plumbing and the environment.
Key Features & Benefits
- Neutralizer Media Cartridge — granular magnesium oxide ) raises pH of acidic condensate before discharge.
- Dual Inlet Options — three standard 1" inlets for non-acidic sources, plus a dedicated 1" and ¾" inlet for acidic condensate to prolong media life.
- Built-In Overflow Safety Switch — helps prevent overflows if tubing becomes blocked or pump fails
- High-Impact ABS Tank — durable and corrosion-resistant housing.
- 3/8" Barbed / Threaded Discharge — simple connection to tubing (barbed) or threaded plumbing.
- Removable Check Valve — for easy servicing or replacement.
- Fully Automatic & Quiet — thermally protected motor; vibration isolation pads included.
- Includes 20 ft Tubing — ready for field installation.

Applications & Use Cases
- Neutralizing and discharging acidic condensate from high-efficiency furnaces, boilers, or water heaters (up to 500,000 BTU input)
- Handling non-acidic condensate from air conditioners, dehumidifiers, ice machines via separate inlets
- Residential or light commercial HVAC systems where plumbing compatibility and pH protection are required
Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Mount level on a wall or surface beneath the condensate source with access to inlets.
- Use the proper inlets: acid condensate should go into the dedicated inlet, while non-acidic condensate may use the general inlets.
- Check and replace the neutralizer media cartridge (part # K001898) annually or when outlet pH drops below ~5.0.
- Inspect check valves, tubing, and inlets for blockages regularly.
- If installed in freezing environments, drain lines and pump unit when idle.
